Combined CFG/Mriya company takes first delivery of new agricultural equipment worth USD 2,3 million
In March CFG/Mriya Agro Holding, which since early 2019 operates as a combined business, purchased new equipment worth USD 2,3 million. The company added 17 units of trailed equipment to its fleet. In particular, six AMAZONE ZG-TS 10001 ProfisPro fertiliser spreaders with 10-tonne hoppers and 15 m to 54 m working width, six RAUCH AGT 6036 spreaders with 6-tonne hoppers and working width 36 m and another 5 KUHN KRAUSE cultivators are already in active use during spring field works. The new machinery was supplied by Deutsche Agrotechnik Ukraine, Rauch Landmaschinenfabrik GmbH and UAPC LLC.
This is the first of several equipment deliveries to the combined CFG/Mriya Agro Holding planned for this year. Its mutual investor SALIC UK Ltd intends to invest several tens of million USD in the renewal of the equipment fleet in 2019 to ensure the continued effective operation of CFG/Mriya.
As a reminder, in August 2018 Mriya Agro Holding successfully completed the restructuring of its debt. Then in November, the company signed a deal to sell its assets to the international investor SALIC UK. Today Mriya continue its operations in Ukraine alongside SALIC’s subsidiary, Continental Farmers Group (CFG). The combined business has a land bank of 195,000 ha under cultivation in Western Ukraine.
