Mriya Agro Holding acquires 27 agricultural machines for $3.56m

Mriya Agro Holding has acquired 27 agricultural machines at a total cost of $3.56m. The company’s fleet has been boosted by 13 Massey Ferguson 8737 tractors, one CASE Stiger 500 tractor, eight Horsch Tiger 4MT disc harrows and five Agrisem Cultiplow Platinum 4 soil looseners. The machinery is purchased under a leasing agreement with OTP Leasing with a finance term of three years.

‘The tractors and cultivators are now all at Mriya bases,’ said Mriya Agro Holding COO Andriy Hryhorov. ‘These particular machines were selected as we pursue more intensive soil working technologies and improved crop yields. The company’s fleet is constantly bolstered by new models. We have a long-term investment programme, which will, by 2020, entirely eliminate the machinery shortage caused by the actions of the previous management. Our partners will provide valuable assistance. We are grateful to OTP Leasing for resuming constructive dialogue after Mriya’s default and continuing their cooperation with us.’

Since the beginning of 2017 Mriya Agro Holding has spent a total of $10.76m on new machinery.
